Our Annual NSIWA Christmas Dinner and Auction is taking place on December 17, 2025 at the Brightwood Golf Course. Members are encouraged to bring items for the auction as well as guests. This is one of our most popular events of the year! Proceeds go to our Cancer Crusade.

The Ontario Insurance Professionals Association is hosting the annual CAIW Convention in June 2026, at the lovely Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario. Registration is now open- click for more information

NSIWA's annual contribution to the Shoebox Project was a huge success. This year, with the support of our members and their employers, along with our annual 20 box donation, we were able to fill and donate 92 boxes which will go to shelters across Nova Scotia this Christmas!

NSIWA held a Mini Conference in March 2025 which was well attended! Education, comradery, and team building exercises over 2 nights at the Delta Dartmouth hotel. We look forward to our next members only Mini Conference in February 2026!

Since 2022, our Ways and Means Committee has been collecting monetary and food donations for our local food banks. We have supported the Dartmouth Community Fridge, Feed NS, and various other community pantries.
